Co-Hosted Event

The Futsal Jamboree

Grind City Futsal is teaming up with Futsal Culture, Joga Bonito Futsal Academy, and SSA Futsal for a one-day South Florida Futsal Jamboree — players are placed onto mixed teams at the event, so it's a welcoming, competitive setting for every skill level, not just club regulars.

Spots are limited and age divisions fill up fast. Registration happens directly on SSA's event page — a confirmation email goes out right away, with venue details to follow closer to the date.

The Game

What is futsal?

Futsal is a 5-a-side game played on a hard court with a low-bounce ball. There are no walls, unlike the indoor soccer seen across America — so players must keep close control of the ball at all times.

Players are challenged to play multiple positions, make quick decisions, and perform under pressure in tight spaces. It's the game that built the touch and technique of the world's best.

The Development Edge

Why futsal is important

6×

More touches on the ball than playing 11-a-side football.

↑

Confidence on the ball under real pressure from opponents.

1v1

Decision-making sharpened in tight, high-repetition situations.

+

Ball retention built from the constant threat of a counter-attack.

"My touch and dribbling have all come from playing futsal."

Rafa Rodriguez

CBF Pro Futsal License

Rafa built Grind City Futsal into a player-development-driven futsal club in Memphis, with a club-neutral approach that complements — rather than competes with — a player's soccer season. He's now bringing that same technical, high-repetition training philosophy to a new generation of players in Boca Raton and South Florida.

Boca Raton families — Tuesday night training starts now.
